Kool & the Gang, iconici padrini del jazz-funk con oltre 50 anni di carriera e 70 milioni di dischi venduti nel mondo vi faranno scatenare in un live travolgente mercoledì 17 luglio al parco San Valentino di Pordenone.

I ritmi soul e funky della celebre band americana hanno segnato la storia e l'evoluzione della pop-dance, influenzando la musica di tre generazioni.
Grazie a canzoni come “Celebration”, “Get Down on it”, “Jungle Boogie”, “Fresh Cherish”, “Summer Madness” e “Open Sesame”, ancora oggi gettonatissime nelle discoteche e nelle radio revival, si è aggiudicata due Grammy Awards, sette American Music Awards, 25 Top Ten R & B, nove Top Ten Pop e 31 dischi d'oro e di platino.
Il gruppo prende il nome dal bassista Robert Bell, che, grazie alle sue impressionanti doti tecniche, veniva soprannominato dagli altri componenti della band “cool”, cioè “fico”.
Pubblicato nel 1970, “Kool and the Gang” è anche il loro primo singolo: una miscela esplosiva di funky, rythm & blues e jazz. Imperdibile!

The soul and funk rhythms of the famous American band have marked the history and evolution of pop-dance, influencing the music of three generations.
Thanks to songs like “Celebration”, “Get Down on it”, “Jungle Boogie”, “Fresh Cherish”, “Summer Madness” and “Open Sesame”, still popular today in discotheques and radio revival, they have won two Grammy Awards, seven American Music Awards, 25 Top Ten R&B, nine Top Ten Pop and 31 gold and platinum records.
The group takes its name from bassist Robert Bell, who, thanks to his impressive technical skills, was nicknamed by the other members of the band as “Kool”.
